Translating the Science of ADCs for Patients with Cancer

Informed patients are empowered patients. Which is why helping people with cancer understand their disease, as well as how available treatment options might work for them, is a critical focus of our patient advocacy efforts.

Through conversations with patient advocates, patients and patient advocacy organizations, Daiichi Sankyo identified the need for a resource describing the science behind antibody drug conjugates, a class of anti-cancer therapies designed to target and kill tumor cells while reducing toxicity to healthy cells. With input from patient advocacy partners, we created Understanding Antibody Drug Conjugates (ADCs), a three-minute video that uses visual metaphors and animation to explain this therapy option used for certain cancers.

Watch the educational video our advocacy partners are sharing with patients and their caregivers who are looking for more information about new treatment options:

The Understanding Antibody Drug Conjugates video is just one example of how Daiichi Sankyo is translating science for people with cancer to support patient education and decision making.

You and your doctor are a team in your care. This video is intended for U.S. consumers and for informational purposes only and is not intended to be a substitute for medical advice. Talk with your doctor to learn more about your disease and treatment.
