What is the deadline to submit an online application?

All applications must be submitted at least 60 days prior to a program start date. Applications for funding support are reviewed on a rolling basis and must be submitted online. Daiichi Sankyo, Inc. does not provide any support for events that have already occurred.

Once my application has been submitted, how long does it take you to review it?

Review times vary. However, the general guidance is anywhere up to 60 days. Some proposals with an expanded global audience may take longer. You can assist with minimizing the review timeline by providing complete and accurate documentation in a timely manner, and by submitting your proposal well in advance of the minimum 60 day requirement.

What types of funding requests does Daiichi Sankyo provide?

Daiichi Sankyo, Inc. provides the following types of financial support to patient and professional organizations and institutions: Charitable contributions, Sponsorships, Independent Medical Education Grants, Independent Patient Education Grants and Scientific Advancement Grants. 

What criteria do you use to determine which activities are funded?

Daiichi Sankyo, Inc. reviews applications based on a variety of factors and requirements as specified in each application and as shown in the Grants and Sponsorships request portal. All proposals are reviewed against the same criteria specified for the application type.

Why was my application declined?

There are a variety of reasons why your application may be denied. Unfortunately, Daiichi Sankyo, Inc., receives many more proposals that we are able to fund. We endeavor to fund proposals that align strategically with Daiichi Sankyo, Inc. areas of interest, are within available budget and meet all minimum requirements.
