Eric Richards Bio
Eric Richards, MS, MPH
As Head of Global Regulatory Affairs, Eric is responsible for leading a team of professionals around the world who aim to deliver regulatory strategies and submissions efficiently and flawlessly, in order for Daiichi Sankyo’s pipeline of innovative medicines to reach patients as quickly as possible.
Prior to his current role, Eric has served as Head of Global Regulatory Strategy Oncology for Daiichi Sankyo. Before joining Daiichi Sankyo, Eric’s career transition began in the regulatory department of Pfizer. He has held various regulatory positions, with increasing levels of responsibility and leadership at GlaxoSmithKline, AstraZeneca and Bristol-Myers Squibb over the past 20 years.
Eric has a passion for innovative science, and is motivated by the challenge, the obligation and the privilege of bringing the fruits of that science to the benefit of patients.
